Ḳol ḳore Yeshivat Torat Ḥayim. 1905-1908.

Plan and appeal for funds for Chaim Tchernowitz's rabbinical seminary in Odessa, Torat Ḥayim. Tchernowitz's signature appears at the end of the appeal. There is a photograph of the 1907 class in the manuscript. On the back of the photograph, there is a section of the protocols of the Yeshiva written by Hayim Nachman Bialik, who was a student there. The photograph and Bialik's protocols are not originals; they were probably a page removed from a published work. Also includes letters of Lev Israel Brodski of Kiev on behalf of the seminary.

6 leaves, bound ; 80 blank leaves; 4 leaves, unbound ; 26 cm. + photograph.
